I’m pleased to announce my 2023 Print Portfolio. This collection of archival pigment prints represents my best work from 2023. This portfolio contains a total of 10 prints taken during my winter, spring and fall trips throughout 2023. The streamlined presentation features a heavyweight black paper folio with clean crisp edges, enclosed in a familiar white sleeve. This new presentation style eliminates the use of plastic, requires less packaging material, and significantly reduces shipping costs to you. These new folios are 1/3 the thickness of my previous box sets, thereby consuming less space on a bookshelf. The contents within the portfolios remain unchanged from my previous box sets.

Each photo is printed with archival pigment ink using an Epson P7000 on a hand-trimmed 8x10" sheet of Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta paper. The size of the printed portion of the image is 7.2” x 9.2”, with a thin white border surrounding the image. Each print is carefully heat pressed for superior print flatness.

This folio can be displayed on a bookshelf, on a coffee table, or individual photos can be framed if you wish. It's all up to you. My 2023 print portfolio is an edition of 150 copies.

Each print portfolio includes an individually signed and numbered title page printed on highly textured Hahnemühle William Turner paper, along with two information sheets printed on vellum that tell the story of each trip. Also included is a handwritten note and a Fuji Instax photograph taken on one of my photography trips. Each archival pigment print is carefully inspected, then signed and numbered with pencil on the back. The print folio is then wrapped in a hand-glued sleeve printed on Hahnemühle German Etching paper.

Zine Bundles Available

New this year is a bundle that includes the inaugural issue of my zine “Reflected Light”. The zine is available both as a standard edition, and a premium version that includes a print. The zine is a soft-bound 32-page magazine-style publication containing 18 photos from my winter, spring and fall trips, along with accompanying text. The zine is printed on 100% recycled paper, and sells for $24 when bundled with a print portfolio ($30 when purchased separately). The premium zine includes a print of “What Once Was” (a print not otherwise included in the portfolio), and sells for $39 when bundled with a print portfolio ($45 when purchased separately). The Zine will ship in the same package as the print portfolio.

Edition Number

My 2023 Print Portfolio is an edition of only 150 copies. This limitation is largely based on my ability to produce them all by hand. The entire edition sells through each year, and those who order early get the best price.
