I photographed this scene on my spring 2019 trip to the Coastal Redwoods of Northern California. This was my first dedicated photography trip to the Redwoods, and I absolutely loved working in this new environment. I arrived at this scene a few hours before a heavy rain started, and I waited for just a hint of mist to drift through the forest before making my exposure.
