I photographed this scene on my winter 2021 trip to Zion National Park. I saw snow in the forecast, so I made my way to Zion ahead of the storm. The previous summer season was incredibly dry, and many of the fall leaves remained on the trees. Although the pale color was a bit of a let down in the fall, it was just the perfect compliment for the fresh dusting of snow.

This photo was taken on Fuji Provia 100F transparency film with a Nikkor W 300mm lens on an Arca-Swiss F-Metric 8x10 view camera.
